Art Appraisal & Consulting
I grew up working in the Houston Museum District, studied Art History at Lesley University in Cambridge, served as a docent at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and worked in the office of Whitney Museum Director Adam Weinberg before moving to New York. In 2015, I earned an MA in Art and Public Policy under the mentorship of artist Karen Finley.
Over the past two decades my work has spanned museum interpretation, criticism and editorial, international fine art logistics, private sales, and appraisal, across art fairs, galleries, museums, and consulting firms.
My cousin Dorothy Blau was a Pop Art dealer, and my grandfather Fred Winchell a portrait photographer. Both were known for creating lasting relationships with their clients, and sharing their professional resources within the art world.
