Art Toronto: Enhancing VIP Programming and Citywide Representation

At Art Toronto, I joined the VIP team at the invitation of Director Mia Nielsen to help coordinate VIP services during the fair’s first post-COVID edition. My role extended beyond staffing the desk and managing guest check-in for private events; I was also tasked with representing the fair at VIP programming across the city, providing high-touch service to Art Toronto’s most valued guests.

Key responsibilities included supporting exclusive off-site events, such as the fair’s flagship partnership event with RBC, as well as organizing private tours with notable local artists. These partnerships allowed us to offer an expanded cultural experience, connecting VIP guests to Toronto’s thriving arts scene. Through a combination of strategic planning and on-site representation, I strengthened the fair’s presence in the city and ensured a cohesive, engaging experience for its VIP clientele.

This role reinforced my ability to manage VIP relations, forge partnerships, and create memorable experiences that align with an institution’s mission and goals, all while navigating the unique dynamics of citywide event coordination like studio visits and museum receptions.
